'Ribut Reboot"

A Group exhibition held in Sangkring Art Space in Yogyakarta along with 9 other students from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

 

Ribut Reboot reflects an interpretation by a group of young artists based in Singapore, triggered by the pictorial landscapes of Yogyakarta, translating it into each artist's personal attempt to comprehend the different environment.

Ku Sikat Kusut Ku (I Brush My Mess) is an expression that reveals self-infliction especially when Aisha experienced and observed the landscapes, sunsets and vandalism on the walls in Yogyakarta. Having some parts created using sikat (hair comb), Aisha wanted to manifest the term mood - loneliness from the atmosphere of Yogyakarta into Ku Sikat Kusut Ku.
